# Homemade Coca-Cola

## Ingredients

- 1 cup coconut sugar
- 0.5 cup water
- 3 small ones cinnamon sticks
- lemon skin
- lime skin
- orange skin
- 1 dash coriander
- nutmeg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 0.5 teaspoon bitters
- 3 parts sparkling water

## Instructions

1. Place a pot on medium-low heat.
2. Add one cup of coconut sugar to the pot.
3. Cook and stir the sugar until it becomes sticky.
4. Once the sugar is sticky, add half a cup of water.
5. Turn up the heat slightly to bring the mixture to a simmer.
6. Once it starts to simmer, add three small cinnamon sticks.
7. Add a little bit of lemon skin, lime skin, and orange skin to the pot.
8. Add a dash of coriander and a dash of nutmeg to the mixture.
9. Let the mixture simmer for 5 to 10 minutes until it thickens and all the flavors come together.
10. After 10 minutes, take the pot off the heat.
11. Strain the mixture into a glass jar to remove peels and other solids.
12. Add one teaspoon of vanilla to the syrup.
13. Add half a teaspoon of bitters to the syrup, ensuring it's a dye-free version.
14. Let the syrup cool for about 30 minutes.
15. Add ice to a cup.
16. Pour one part of the homemade syrup into the cup with ice.
17. Add three parts of sparkling water to the cup.
18. Stir everything up until it's well combined.
