# Nonna’s Italian Lemon dressing

A delicious Italian lemon dressing recipe from Mrs. Marzullo, perfect for a simple salad.

## Ingredients

- 2 lemons
- 2 tbsp good quality olive oil
- 1 tbsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp onion powder
- 1 tbsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tsp salt
- cracks black pepper
- 0.25 cup water
- 1 large head of romaine lettuce

## Instructions

1. Remove the lemon peel with a paring knife.
2. Remove the seeds and chop the lemons into small pieces (1/2 ", or so).
3. Add all the ingredients to a bowl and whisk until all combined.
4. Chop a large head of romaine lettuce.
5. Pour the dressing over the lettuce.
6. Mix it all up by hand and enjoy.

## Tips

- The trick is to really whisk the ingredients together, the lemon pieces will break down a bit and release more juice.
