# Valentine’s Oreo Cookies

## Ingredients

- 85 g butter, softened
- 75 g granulated sugar
- 75 g brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 0.5 tsp vanilla extract
- 180 g all-purpose flour
- 0.5 tsp baking powder
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 50 g dark chocolate, chopped or chips
- 50 g Valentine’s M&M’s
- 50 g Oreos, roughly chopped

## Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.
2. Cream butter and both sugars together until light and fluffy.
3. Mix in the egg and vanilla until fully combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt.
5. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients.
6. Gently fold in chocolate, Oreos, and M&M’s until evenly distributed.
7. Scoop dough onto the tray (1–2 tbsp per cookie), leaving space between each.
8. Press extra chocolate, Oreos, and M&M’s on top.
9. Bake for 8–12 minutes, until edges are lightly golden and centers are still soft.
10. Cool on the tray for 5 minutes.
11. Then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
