# Sausage, Beans & Cheesy Mash Pie

This is the ultimate comfort food situation, a mashed potato version of a smiley pie.

## Ingredients

- Sausages
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 carrots, diced small
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 tin baked beans
- Splash Worcestershire sauce
- Salt
- pepper
- Mashed potatoes (ready-made or prepped however you like)
- grated cheese for the top

## Instructions

1. Cook the sausages until golden, then slice.
2. Soften the onion and carrots in a pan until sweet, add the garlic and cook briefly.
3. Stir in the Worcestershire and baked beans, then add the sausages and season well.
4. Tip everything into an oven dish, spoon the mash over the top, add cheese if using.
5. Bake at 200°C (180°C fan) for 25–30 minutes until golden and bubbling.
