# Chewy Oatmeal Cookies

This recipe is for making homemade oatmeal cookies similar to Little Debbie oatmeal cookies, but with a cream cheese filling instead of Crisco.

## Ingredients

- 1 butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 2 cups flour
- 2 cups oats
- 1 cream

## Instructions

1. Cream together butter and brown sugar.
2. Add eggs and beat.
3. Add vanilla, salt, baking soda, cinnamon, flour, and oats; mix until stiff.
4. Grease a cookie sheet.
5. Drop cookie dough onto the cookie sheet using a cookie dropper.
6. Dip a spoon in water and press down the cookies slightly.
7. Bake until filling is ready.
8. Remove the cookies from the oven and let them cool on a rack.
9. Once the cookies are cold, sandwich them together using cream.
