# Teriyaki Beef Sticks

## Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 2 tsp Morton Tender Quick
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground ginger
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp dried chopped onion
- 1/2 tsp coarse black pepper
- 1/2 tbsp liquid smoke
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil

## Instructions

1. Combine ground beef and all seasonings in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
2. Place the meat mixture on a sheet of parchment paper, top with another sheet, and roll it out into a thin layer roughly the size of a half-sheet pan with a 2-3mm thickness.
3. Score the meat into strips using a knife.
4. Place on a half-sheet pan, cover, and chill in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
5. Remove from the refrigerator and re-score the meat along the previous lines.
6. Bake in an oven at 275 degrees for 60 minutes.
7. Allow to cool, then tear the beef strips apart and blot with a paper towel.

## Tips

- You can substitute liquid aminos for soy sauce.
