## Ingredients

- 2 pounds beef (preferably lean cuts like eye of round or sirloin)
- 1 cup soy sauce
- 0.5 cup Worcestershire sauce
- 0.25 cup honey
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons onion powder
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke

## Instructions

1. Partially freeze the beef for about 1-2 hours to make it easier to slice into thin strips.
2. In a large bowl, combine the soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, honey, brown sugar, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, paprika, and liquid smoke.
3. Mix well to create the marinade.
4. Remove the partially frozen beef from the freezer and slice it into thin strips, around 1/8 to 1/4 inch thick.
5. Place the beef strips into the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated.
6. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight for maximum flavor.
7. Once the beef has finished marinating, preheat your dehydrator according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Remove the beef strips from the marinade and pat them dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
9. Arrange the beef strips on the dehydrator trays, leaving space between each piece for proper airflow.
10. Place the trays in the dehydrator and set the temperature to 160°F (70°C).
11. Dehydrate the beef for approximately 4-6 hours, or until it reaches your desired level of dryness and chewiness.
12. Once the beef jerky is fully dehydrated, remove it from the dehydrator and allow it to cool completely before storing in an airtight container.
