# Mother's Day Designed Sponge Cake

## Ingredients

- 12 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup oil
- 2 cups flour
- 6 Americolor food gel

## Instructions

1. Trace your design onto parchment paper using an edible marker.
2. Separate six egg yolks and six egg whites.
3. Whisk egg yolks with sugar, milk, and oil until combined. Then sift in flour and whisk until smooth.
4. Whip egg whites into stiff peaks.
5. Fold whipped egg whites into the egg yolk mixture.
6. Prepare different colored batter using Americolor food gel.
7. Pipe the design onto the parchment paper in a cake pan.
8. Do not overmix the batter.
9. Layer a plain sponge cake with whipped cream, and top it with the decorated cake layer.
