## Ingredients

- 1 1/4 cup flour
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter
- 2-4 tbsp ice water
- 1 cup milk
- 1 whole egg yolk
- 2 tbsp flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1 tbsp corn syrup
- 1 tbsp milk, warm (optional)
- 1 dash green food coloring

## Instructions

1. Combine flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl and whisk.
2. Add cold butter and cut into the flour mixture.
3. Stir in ice water and form into a dough.
4. Shape the dough into a ball and freeze.
5. Whisk together milk, egg yolk, flour, and sugar in a saucepan on the stove.
6. Whisk on medium heat.
7. Stir in vanilla and allow pudding to cool completely.
8. Roll out the dough and cut out circles.
9. Brush edges with warm water.
10. Add 1/2 tablespoon of pudding to each circle.
11. Fold over tightly and press edges with a fork.
12. Freeze the pies.
13. Brush pies with milk/egg wash.
14. Bake at 415 F (212 C).
15. Whisk together powdered sugar, milk, corn syrup, and green food coloring.
16. Dip pies in icing and dry.
