## Ingredients

- 1.5 cups shortening or Crisco
- 0.75 cups white sugar
- 1.5 cups brown sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1.5 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 3.75 cups flour
- 0.5 teaspoon corn starch
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 bag chocolate chips

## Instructions

1. Combine 1.5 cups of shortening or Crisco, 0.75 cups of white sugar, and 1.5 cups of brown sugar in a stand mixer.
2. Cream together until fluffy.
3. Add in 3 eggs, 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, 3.75 cups of flour, 0.5 teaspoon of corn starch, and 1.5 teaspoons of salt.
4. Mix until fully incorporated.
5. Add 1 bag of chocolate chips.
6. Scoop the cookie dough onto a baking sheet using a cookie scoop.
7. Bake for 9-12 minutes.
