# Dill Pickles

## Ingredients

- 2 whole cucumber
- 1 sprig dill
- 4 clove garlic
- 1 piece ginger, roughly cut
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp mustard seed (optional)
- 2 cup water
- 1 cup white wine vinegar
- 1 tsp chili flakes

## Instructions

1. Trim ends off cucumbers and slice into spears.
2. Pack cucumber spears tightly into a jar.
3. Add dill, garlic cloves, ginger pieces, peppercorns, mustard seed (optional), and sugar to the jar.
4. Combine water, white wine vinegar, and chili flakes in a pot and bring to a boil.
5. Carefully pour the hot brine over the cucumbers in the jar.
6. Let the jar cool to room temperature, seal with a lid, and refrigerate.

## Tips
