# Hash Brown Casserole (Funeral Potatoes)

## Ingredients

- 1 bag shredded hash browns
- 1 cup cream of chicken soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 0.5 onion onion
- 3 cloves garlic
- 0.5 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 0.5 cup shredded muenster cheese
- 0 salt
- 0 pepper
- 0 cayenne pepper

## Instructions

1. Dice half an onion and 3-4 cloves of garlic.
2. Sauté the diced onion and garlic in a frying pan with butter until softened.
3. In a bowl, combine shredded hashbrowns, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, cheddar and muenster cheese, and the sautéed onion and garlic.
4. Season with salt, pepper and cayenne to taste.
5. Pour the mixture into a baking dish and bake at 375°F for about an hour.
6. Add some extra cheese during the last few minutes of baking.
