# Chicken Flavored Rice Seasoning

A homemade shelf-stable chicken-flavored seasoning mix designed to replace store-bought rice packets.

- Cuisine: Indian
- Language: en

## Ingredients

- 1/2 cup nutritional yeast
- 3 tbsp onion powder
- 2 tbsp garlic powder
- 2 tbsp parsley
- 1 tbsp celery seed
- 2 tsp fine sea salt
- 2 tsp ground white pepper
- 2 tsp turmeric
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp ground thyme
- 1/2 tsp rubbed sage
- 1/4 tsp ground rosemary

## Instructions

1. Combine all seasoning ingredients in a container and mix well.
2. Store the spice mixture separately in an airtight container or combine with dry rice in pre-measured jars for grab-and-go convenience.
3. To cook, use a ratio of 1 cup rice, 1 tbsp seasoning, 2 cups water or broth, and 1 tbsp butter, then cook as normal.

## Tips

- Use 2 tbsp celery powder instead of 1 tbsp celery seed as an alternative.
- Keep spice separately from rice and store in an air tight container OR prep in jars pre measured with rice so it has the same grab and go convenience that the store bought box stuff has.
