# Din Tai Fung-Inspired Garlic Green Beans

Crunchy, buttery, garlicky green beans served with a savory chili oil dipping sauce.

## Ingredients

- 1 large bag fresh green beans
- 2 large head garlic, grated
- 1/2 stick butter
- equal part soy sauce
- equal part vinegar
- a splash avocado oil
- lots of chili flakes

## Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
2. Add green beans and cook until bright green and still slightly crunchy.
3. Drain and rinse under cold water to stop the cooking.
4. Melt a few pieces of butter over the warm green beans.
5. In a bowl, mix grated garlic with 1/2 stick melted butter.
6. Massage the garlic butter mixture into the green beans until evenly coated.
7. Combine equal parts soy sauce and vinegar, then add a little avocado oil and plenty of chili flakes.
8. Serve the beans on their own or dipped into the chili oil sauce.

## Tips

- Add more butter to the garlic butter mixture if needed for a spreadable consistency.
