# Pineapple Upside Down Cake

This cake gets begged for every single time! It's an infamous Pineapple Upside Down Cake, requested by my hubby.

## Ingredients

- dark brown sugar
- 1.5 sticks butter
- pineapple slices
- maraschino cherries
- 1 box Duncan Hines Pineapple Supreme cake mix
- 1 box Jell-O Instant Vanilla Pudding
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup cherry juice
- 1 cup pineapple juice
- oil
- walnuts

## Instructions

1. Butter the baking dish.
2. Melt 1 1/2 sticks of butter in a bowl.
3. Add brown sugar to the melted butter and mix it up really good.
4. Pour the brown sugar and butter mixture into the buttered baking dish.
5. Arrange pineapple slices over the brown sugar mixture.
6. Arrange maraschino cherries in the center of each pineapple slice and around them.
7. In a separate bowl, combine Duncan Hines Pineapple Supreme cake mix, Jell-O Instant Vanilla Pudding mix, 4 large eggs, and 1 cup total of cherry and pineapple juices.
8. Add oil to the cake batter.
9. Mix on medium for 2 minutes.
10. Optionally, add a few walnuts to the batter if feeling generous.
11. Pour the batter evenly over the pineapple and cherry arrangement in the baking dish.
12. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 60-70 minutes.
13. Serve warm or cold, even for breakfast.
