# Creamy Mushroom Spaghetti

A creamy mushroom spaghetti inspired by the Super Mario Bros movie.

## Ingredients

- 160 g spaghetti or linguine
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 0.5 tbsp olive oil
- 300 g white or cremini mushrooms
- 2 garlic cloves
- 0.5 onion
- 0.5 cup dry white wine
- 0.5 cup broth
- 0.75 cup heavy cream
- 0.33 cup grated parmesan
- 0.5 tsp salt
- 0.5 tsp pepper
- 1 chopped parsley
- 1 reserved pasta water

## Instructions

1. Add butter and olive oil to the frying pan.
2. Add sliced mushrooms and cook until softened.
3. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, and cook until fragrant.
4. Season with salt and pepper.
5. Pour in white wine and broth. Let simmer until slightly reduced.
6. Stir in heavy cream and parmesan cheese. Simmer until sauce thickens.
7. Add chopped parsley. Mix well.
8. Cook spaghetti according to package directions. Reserve some pasta water.
9. Add cooked spaghetti to the sauce, and mix well.
10. Add a little reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
11. Serve immediately.
